Tunisian Spike Stitch ("tspike")

Description: Similar to the spike stitch of regular crochet, the tunisian version is created by picking up stitches one or more rows below the current row. Various combinations of loops can be worked up to produce an array of unique patterns. Also, the spike stitch works best by changing yarn skeins for each row in order to highlight the spikes, or loops, picked up from the different rows.

Directions: Insert hook one or more rows below and through the vertical bar corresponding to next st, YO, pull up a loop
