Tunisian Simple Stitch Increase ("inc")

Description: Increase stitches are used to add shaping to a crochet pattern. When strategically placed, increases create curved shapes and edges seen in basic garment knitwear construction. The more stitches worked into the increase, the more severe of a curved shape it creates. For garment construction, increases are generally worked throughout a design, rather than all in one or two rows, to allow for a gradual change in shape.

Directions: Insert hook in next st or sp, YO, pull up a loop, insert hook in next sp or st, YO, and pull up a loop. Continue pulling up sts, alternating bet next sts and sps. The return row is a basic return row.
