Who knew being abducted by thrift store stalking, wollen monsters mummifying people in granny squares could be so entertaining?
Imagine: you’re cruising the aisles of your local second-hand shop checking out the latest kitsch of picked-over clothes and nicknacks, when a hand reaches out from a pile of clothes and draws you in…willingly. Your life was that mundane anyways so you don’t fight it. Once you’ve crossed over to the other side – the colorful, crochet decoupage-like madness – you’ve “…embraced the polarity of life…” The store closes and you and your crochet-donning buddies raid the thrift store. Hijinks ensue.
This is the premise for Seventeen Evergreen’s new music video, “Polarity Song” directed by Terri Timely and Sarah Applebaum. I vote “brilliant” on this one.
