Ronda, thanks! I love that Amy Butler fabric. I love almost everything she does. She's very talented and her designs are surely inspiring.

Yes, slip stitch would work. As a designer, though, I have to make decisions on what would be be salable. And in this case, I had to pass on the idea of a slip stitch bag of this size and shape because I was concerned I'd make no sales on it. But feel free to experiment on your own! And let me know if you do so and post your efforts elsewhere. I'd love to see what you make of it.

Love the bag and colors -- gorgeous lining, too. Looking at the red bag that was part of your inspiration, I wonder if something crocheted entirely of slip stitch would give you the same look and curves? Hmmm, think I oughta go experiment!

Bravo, Amie! It will be great to see you back on the horse; I love your designs.
Ironically, today I also resolved to get back on the horse. Sometimes things and life will try to waylay us, but we just have to keep plugging away. So glad to hear you are back!

Sorry for the delay in responding. Been super busy. My husband has a Mobile Me account (Mac). The gallery was set up in advance. He did it. Not sure how it actually works. I just know that when the photos are sent to a certain email address, they are uploaded automatically. More info about Mobile Me here: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/gallery.html.

Ooh, I came over here to read through your Illustrator crochet chart tutorials again, then wondered what was on the rest of the blog. LOVE your wedding ideas and am excited to read the rest, especially since my brother is getting married next summer and I'm helping out with parts of it.

Hope you had a wonderful wonderful day!!! Would love to know more about the picture gallery/email thing, if you have a chance to share about that. Is that something you guys set up/"programmed" yourself? Or did it use things that we'd be able to replicate for my bros wedding?

Kim, I lived in Fanwood on Terril Road for a couple years. I moved in with my guy when he lived there. What a small world! Thanks for the well wishes. Much appreciated.

Novita: You know, the owner decided to close it up and go back to working his moer corporate chef gig at some big name hotel. Sad too because that place was INCREDIBLE. The food was spot on.
