I love that Amy Butler fabric. I love almost everything she does. She's very talented and her designs are surely inspiring. Yes, slip stitch would work. As a designer, though, I have to make decisions on what would be be salable. And in this case, I had to pass on the idea of a slip stitch bag of this size and shape because I was concerned I'd make no sales on it. But feel free to experiment on your own!
